[ 富山 ]
下尾和彦、さおりによるユニット作家。
1997年 富山にアトリエを設立。
「美しい日本の道具」をコンセプトに、潔く合理的な
日本の文化や美意識が落とし込まれた家具、器などを製作。
日本古来の木目を美しく見せる「浮造り（うづくり）」仕上げと
独自の着色技法を組み合わせ創り出した「浮様」などは
とても美しく独自性に富んでおり、その木肌はまるで
森の中で大木に触れているかのようである。

The furniture and utensils are produced with
conscious of Japanese culture, beauty as a rationalism.
The “FUYOU” that created by combining the traditional techniques of
“Uzukuri” with original Shimoo method is very beautiful and unique.
Its surface seems to touch a large tree in the forest.
